Had a guy come in today, just bought himself a mossy 88 to have a play with. He was saying he couldn't fit more than 2 rounds in the mag and was sure it held more and could I have a look at it. So I took the cap off the end of the mag removed the barrel tipped the gun so the end where Id removed the cap was pointing down and gave it a shake, out popped a thin piece of dowel with some o rings on it then put it back together and said there you go. He asked what's that and what's it doing in there. I told him its a mag limiter Im not totally up on shotgun **** but I'm guessing because he bought it in duck shooting season they put the limiter in so it would be legal for duck shooting. I've had one before but it didn't have the limiter in it..

I'm not much of a wing shooter. But didn't even know they'd bought mag limits in, in NZ.
The brits are limited to two or three (side-by-sides or o/u's being basically not considered as firearms, and everyone's allowed one or ten, historically.)
And I think they allowed the pumpys one more, for whatever reason.
Gotta be a bit careful with tube-mags, those springs can go a fair distance, inter-dimensional even, if you don't put em back together properly. (Don't ask how I know)

Im not either but Im pretty sure theres a mag limit if you are duck shooting
