Well finally got to have a play today. I love this thing, learnt a few things as well mainly my infrared thermometer is a piece of crap

so after I figured that out i had to figure out another way of figuring out when it was at the right temp. Pretty unscientific but as it wasn't dark and one way they say is when the brass just starts to glow I got a new piece of brass you could clearly see the heat color marks and I also saw somewhere that when the flame just turns orange is when its at the right temp, this and the color marks coincided with each other so that seemed pretty good to me and away I went.
After the first batch I went rummaging around looking for more brass to anneal and ended up spending over 4hrs doing it while playing around trying to make a couple of antennas. It takes a little bit to set machine up but its not hard if your good with your hands and think about it. It comes with all the tools you need and parts to swap over for different cals. Its a pretty well thought out package and I wouldn't even bother trying to make it for what it cost. the only thing that it doesn't come with is the gas torch which I already had and just got an adaptor to run it off a bbq bottle.
